Choosing a working timeframe for Hong Kong session charts

Why we start students on the four-hour chart before they refine entries on shorter views.

Choosing a working timeframe for Hong Kong session charts

Hong Kong session traders often arrive addicted to the five-minute chart. We pull them up to the four-hour view for the first hour of class. The goal is not to ignore short charts; it is to write a daily or four-hour bias before any entry language is allowed.

In the Multi-Timeframe Alignment Lab we stack three panes: daily for regime, four-hour for structure, hourly for timing. Students must speak the higher-timeframe sentence aloud before touching the lower pane. The ritual feels theatrical the first time; by the third chart it becomes muscle memory.

Choose a working timeframe you can review every evening without fatigue. Consistency beats sophistication when you are still building structure habits.
